Rounagle Lion's Choice is a 50-year-old Armagnac presented in a wooden box. It is aged for 50 years and has a deep amber colour with mahogany reflections. The nose offers dried plum, cocoa, vanilla and a light hint of nutmeg, with leather and tobacco emerging over time, from long maturation in oak casks. On the palate it is balanced and velvety, with mature fruit, dark chocolate and caramel, followed by a light spiciness and a long, harmonious finish. It is intended to be drunk neat, perhaps after a refined dinner or on special occasions.
