Arran – 1/4 Cask

Arran Quarter Cask is a cask strength single malt from the Isle of Arran. The whisky spent seven years in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, then a further two years in 125 litre quarter casks made of American oak, where the smaller size brings the spirit into closer contact with the wood. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring. Full-bodied, it is described as combining power with finesse, with rich vanilla sweetness and bold peppery spice.
