Arran 10 Year is the flagship single malt from Isle of Arran Distillers, founded in 1995 at Lochranza as the first distillery on the island in over 150 years. It is matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and made without peat.
It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
The nose is fresh, with vanilla cream, light heather honey, green apple, a hint of citrus and mild coastal air. The palate is medium-bodied, with honeyed malt, orchard fruit, light toffee and gentle spice. The finish is clean and of medium length, with vanilla sweetness and a faint coastal mineral note.
