Arran – 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 4 (70cl, 53.2%)

This is Arran 12 Year Old Cask Strength, batch 4, bottled without reduction at 53.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled in September 2014, in an outturn of 15,000 bottles. The distillery released six batches of its 12-year-old at cask strength between 2011 and 2016. This batch is described as powerful and complex, in keeping with the Arran style. On the palate it is soft, round and fruity, with chocolate and cocoa notes, and the finish turns to candied orange.
