Arran 2006 Private Cask 9 Years Old – The Nectar 10 Years (70cl, 53.6%)

This is a single cask Arran single malt, bottled to mark the 10th anniversary of The Nectar, the Belgian whisky importer. It was distilled on 3 November 2006 and bottled on 6 July 2016, after nine years in a bourbon barrel. It comes at a cask strength of 53.6%, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The cask, number 2006/038, gave 215 bottles. It is usually described as fruity and malty, with notes of vanilla, honey and oak.
