This is the 2023 limited release of Arran's 25 year old single malt, in a 70cl bottle.
It was made from a mix of bourbon barrels and sherry casks from 1995, which then spent a year finished in sherry hogsheads.
The nose is rich with oak and gentle nutmeg, alongside baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries. On the palate come fruit cake, toasted almonds and cinnamon, with orange and mandarin zest, manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and a note of white pepper.
