A 25 year old single malt from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour. The distillery was founded in 1995 and is known for a fruity style that avoids strong smoke.
The nose brings dark berries, ripe cherries, dates, figs and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate, creamy honey meets roasted almonds, juicy orange, cherry cake and apricot jam, with a fine spiciness balancing the sweetness.
The finish is long, with dark chocolate and subtle spice.
