This is a single cask Arran bottled for Switzerland. The whisky was distilled in 1996 and matured for 26 years in an ex-bourbon barrel. It was bottled at cask strength, 48.2% ABV, on 28 August 2022, and only 152 bottles were filled.
The nose offers ripe mango, elderflower and honey. The palate is buttery, with vanilla custard, a light rancio note and orange peel. The finish is strong and long, balanced and lightly spiced.
