Arran 30 Year Old – Sherry Hogsheads & Bourbon Barrels

This is a 30-year-old single malt from Arran, distilled at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. It matured in a selection of sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour, with a warm ochre tone. The bottle is made from recycled glass and comes in a wooden box with a topographic relief. The nose is ripe apples and mandarins with fine vanilla over toasted oak. On the palate, rich honey and creamy toffee meet dried fruit and a subtle, salty oak note. The long finish brings orange peel and fine wood.
