Arran – Barley Batch 002 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

Arran Barley Batch 002 is a ten-year-old single malt from the Isle of Arran, released to highlight the part barley plays in whisky. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The nose is sweet malty biscuit, green apple and lemon posset, with vanilla, honeycomb and fresh-cut grass. The palate is soft, with toasted cereal, poached pear and heather honey, plus gentle wood spice and creamy white chocolate. The finish is crisp and clean, with sweet barley malt, vanilla and citrus zest.
