Arran Barrel Reserve American Oak is a 43% ABV whisky from the Isle of Arran Distillers, sold in a 70cl bottle and matured in American oak.
It is light gold in colour. The nose brings lemon, fresh citrus and a little spice, with notes of lemon tart, biscuity malt and tart apple skin. Vanilla sweetness covers the palate, followed by light cinnamon, green apple and a hint of sea breeze.
The finish is lingering and delicate, with sweet oak, aromatic spice, salted caramel and orchard fruit.
