Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt from Isle of Arran Distillers, the island distillery founded in 1995. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 43% ABV.
It is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, which bring as much vanilla and coconut as American oak can give. The fresh fruit and coastal character of the Arran spirit stays prominent, with the wood adding sweetness and creaminess.
