Arran – Barrel Reserve (70cl, 43%)

Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, part of its core range since autumn 2019. It is bottled at 43% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour, in a 70cl bottle. Only bourbon casks were used, which gives a fresh, light whisky. The nose is light and fruity, with lemon cream, apple and orange peel, plus a grassy touch and a sea breeze. On the palate come oranges and green apples, cinnamon vanilla biscuits and fizzy sweets, with gentle oak. The finish brings aromatic spices, a little salted caramel and grapefruit.
