Arran – Cask Finishes Sauternes Cask Finish (70cl, 46%)

This is a single malt from Arran, part of the distillery's Cask Finishes range, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The spirit spent the last few years of its maturation in a Sauternes sweet wine cask. It comes in the older style of Arran bottle. The finish is expected to bring sweet, grapey notes along with woody spice. The palate is described as remarkably sweet, like liquid honey, with a floral character, pineapple and orange, and a slightly salty tang towards the end.
