Arran – Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' (70cl)

Arran Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' is a cask strength single malt from the Arran Distillery on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. It is a limited edition, named after the traditional stone buildings called bothies found across the Scottish countryside. The whisky is matured in quarter casks, smaller casks that bring the spirit into closer contact with the wood. It is bottled without chill-filtration. The nose offers vanilla, toffee and honey, with hints of citrus and spice. On the palate it is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, baked orchard fruits and a delicate smokiness. The finish is long and warming, with oak, spice and a touch of sweetness.
