Arran – Sauternes Cask Finish (70cl, 50%)

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then given a further period in Sauternes sweet wine casks. This second maturation gave it a golden colour and a sweet taste. It comes in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The bottling belongs to the distillery's wine finish series, for which only selected casks are chosen. Together with the Port finish, it is now part of the core range. A small sample tried neat and again with a few drops of water is one way to get to know it.
