This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Arran, distilled and matured at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran and finished in Sauternes casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is honeysuckle, melon and marzipan, with a spiced note adding balance. The palate is richly honeyed, with a citrus touch giving way to spice and a sparkling salinity, then vanilla and raisins followed by toasted oak. The finish joins the richness of Sauternes with the character of Arran.
