Arran – Sauternes Cask Finish (70cl, 50%)

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured first in ex-bourbon oak casks, then finished in Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux, which add sweetness and depth. The nose offers honey, apricot, melon and tropical fruits. On the palate come citrus zest, vanilla, sultanas and toasted oak, with a silky sweetness and gentle floral notes from the Sauternes. The finish is long and fresh, with lingering honey, orange and soft spice.
