Auchentoshan 12 Year Old is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% vol. It is triple distilled, then matured first in ex-bourbon casks and afterwards in sherry casks.
The nose combines floral notes, citrus fruit, sweet caramel, toasted nuts and malt. The palate is sweet with caramel and malty, with orange peel and light sherry notes. The finish is of medium length, malty and slightly dry.
