Auchentoshan – 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Auchentoshan 12 Year Old is a Lowland single malt from a distillery near Glasgow, in a 75cl bottle. It has spent at least 12 years maturing in American oak. Auchentoshan triple-distils all of its production, which takes out more of the heavier aromatic compounds and leaves a lighter, smoother spirit. The oak adds vanilla and soft fruit to that clean base, and the whisky is unpeated. It is usually described as citrus-led, with vanilla and fresh floral notes.
