A 12 year old Auchentoshan from the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner, made to mark the ship's 40th anniversary. It is a triple distilled Lowland single malt, bottled at 43% in a one-litre bottle. The whisky is a mix of bourbon and sherry matured malt. Auchentoshan is the only distillery in Scotland that uses triple distillation exclusively. The nose offers vanilla and coconut from the bourbon casks, with sultanas and rum raisins. The palate is creamy and sweet, with more vanilla and coconut, dried apricots and a light bite of ginger and cloves. The finish is soft, sweet and fairly short.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
