Auchentoshan 18 Year Old is a Lowland single malt in a 70cl bottle, at 43% abv. It matured for at least 18 years in ex-bourbon casks, after triple distillation, which makes the spirit particularly soft.
Dark gold in colour, it has a nose of fresh fruit, sweet honey, toasted nuts and spice. The palate is full-bodied and oily, very fruity, with vanilla, oak and banana. The finish is long and well balanced, with raisins and oak.
