Auchentoshan – Bartender's Malt Edition 1 Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2017) (70cl, 50%)

This is the first edition of Auchentoshan Bartender's Malt, a Lowland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is a limited edition made in collaboration with twelve bartenders from five countries, who selected the whiskies for the blend. The malts span five decades and were matured in a wide range of oak, including American and European oak, sherry casks, red wine barrels and German oak. Auchentoshan is the only Scottish distillery to use triple distillation exclusively. The nose has dried apricots, milk chocolate, honey and green tobacco leaf. The palate is soft, with peel, cherry blossom, brioche and ginger, and the finish is angular and expanding, with lasting warmth.
