Auchentoshan – Select (2006) 1 Litre (1L)

A discontinued distillery bottling of Auchentoshan Select, a Lowland single malt without an age statement, in a 1 litre bottle. Auchentoshan is the only Scottish distillery to use triple distillation exclusively. The nose begins with wood and banana, then turns fresh with green apple and orange peel, before vanilla toffee appears and it fades to light, sweet green apple pulp. On the palate, honey and green apple peel come first, moving to the delicate lightness of apple pulp with accents of lime zest.
