Auchentoshan Three Wood is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in three kinds of cask: American bourbon, then Spanish oloroso sherry, and finally Pedro Ximenez sherry. The whisky is a rich golden brown.
The nose offers blackcurrant, brown sugar, plum, raisin and a hint of orange. The palate brings fruit and syrup with hazelnut, cinnamon, lemon and butterscotch sweetness. The finish is fresh, fruity and long, ending on oaky sweetness.
