Auchroisk – 10 Years Old Private Reserve

This is a ten-year-old Auchroisk single malt, bottled by Cane and Grain for their Private Reserve Collection. It was distilled on 6 March 2014 at the Speyside distillery, which is known for a nutty, spicy style of malt. After the early years of maturation, it spent eight months in a Ruby Port hogshead. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. The finish is long, and is described as not unlike Oloroso, but slightly sweeter.
