Auchroisk – 11 Year Old 2015 Lady of the Glen (57.9%)

Auchroisk 11 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2015 and bottled at 57.9% ABV by Hannah Whisky Merchants for its Lady of the Glen series. It was matured in a single ex-Manzanilla cask, a dry Spanish sherry cask rarely used for Scotch maturation, and the release yielded 299 bottles. The cask is described as adding fresh, coastal salinity and crisp complexity to the fruity, malty character of the spirit, with bright fruit and a subtle salty note.
