This is a 16 year old Auchroisk from Speyside, a Manager's Dram limited edition bottled in 2015 at a natural cask strength of 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a marriage of casks, and 750 bottles were filled. Each distillery's manager picks the cask for the Manager's Dram series, and the bottles were first offered to Diageo employees. The nose is dark chocolate, roasted peanuts and shoe polish. The palate is sherry-influenced, with raisins and coffee, and the finish is short with dried fruit and oak.
