A 10 year old Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Discovery range. The range groups whiskies by flavour profile, such as bourbon-matured, sherry-matured or smoky.
The nose is fresh orchard fruit and zesty citrus with creamy vanilla, honeyed malt and sweet barley. The palate is clean and vibrant, with green apple, ripe pear and soft spice, plus almond, toasted oak and gentle honeycomb. The finish is medium to long, with citrus peel and a touch of warm baking spice.
