Auchroisk – 13 2007/2020 Artful Dodger Refill Bourbon Hogshead (59.5%)

This Auchroisk is a 13 year old Speyside single malt, distilled on 25 January 2007 and matured in a refill bourbon hogshead. Artful Dodger bottled it on 28 February 2020 at a natural cask strength of 59.5% ABV, yielding 350 bottles from the single cask. The nose is nutty and malty. The palate brings the sweetness of ripe pineapple and honey-coated nuts, together with the gentle bite of candied ginger and a subtle, velvety coffee note. It moves into a long, balanced finish.
