This Speyside single malt from Auchroisk was bottled by Cadenhead's in May 2025 for its Original Collection. It is 14 years old, non-chill-filtered, free of added colour and bottled at 46%.
The whisky began in bourbon casks and then spent about two years in a Manzanilla sherry finish. Manzanilla is a dry, salty-fresh style of sherry.
The nose has green apple, citrus, wet stone, almond and a light saltiness. The palate is dry and clean, with malt, citrus peel, white pepper, light nuttiness and a fresh sherry accent. The finish is medium long, tight, mineral and dry.
