Auchroisk – 1996 25 Years Old Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection (70cl, 48.5%)

This Auchroisk is a 25 year old Speyside single malt from Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 5 March 1996 and bottled on 21 January 2022, in an outturn of 684 bottles. The whisky matured in hogsheads, then spent 57 months finishing in a fresh sherry butt. The nose has blueberries, cherries, milk chocolate, toffee and nuts. On the palate, red fruit and blackberries come with chocolate, ginger and nuts. The finish is long, leaning towards forest fruits and wood.
