Auchroisk – 2008 13 Year Old (Watt Whisky) (54.9%)

This is a Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, distilled in 2008 and bottled after 13 years of maturation by the independent bottler Watt Whisky. It is bottled at 54.9% ABV. Much of Auchroisk's production traditionally goes into blends, so the distillery is not often met as a single malt. Watt Whisky selects individual casks and small batches. Fruity and malty notes sit alongside spice and a firm structure. A few drops of water can be added to bring out other aromas.
