This Auchroisk is a 12 year old Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% as an independent bottling under the name The Ultimate.
It was distilled on 29 September 2010 and matured in a bourbon hogshead until it was bottled in April 2023.
The nose is fresh, with pear, ginger, newly cut grass, yeast and oak. The palate brings honey, vanilla, young oak, pepper, milk chocolate and flowers. The finish shows biscuit, ginger, nuts and a touch of bitterness.
