This is a 13-year-old Auchroisk from Speyside, distilled in 2010 and bottled on 20 March 2024 by Signatory Vintage as 100 Proof Edition #12. It was matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle, uncoloured and not chill-filtered.
The nose has dark raisins, plums, nuts and warm sherry. On the palate it is full and robust, with chocolate, dried fruit, almonds, spices and a hint of espresso. The finish is long, warm and intense, with sherry notes that linger.
