A single cask Auchroisk from Speyside, distilled in 2012 and bottled in April 2026 by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company for Batch 21 of its Infrequent Flyers series. It is a 70cl bottle at 56.8% ABV. The whisky matured for 13 years in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead, cask 9088, and spent about two years and six months finishing in that sweet sherry cask. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration, and the cask gave 333 bottles. The colour is a vibrant tawny. The nose offers ripe Conference pears, espresso coffee and almond praline. The palate is velvety, with cocoa, molten Demerara sugar, crème brûlée and a hint of nutmeg.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
