This is a 25 year old Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, released in 2016 as a limited edition of 3954 bottles. It matured in a combination of American and European oak casks.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, 51.2%, without chill filtration or artificial colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers soft vanilla, ripe peach, honey, light spices and subtle oak. On the palate it is full and creamy, with malt, dried fruit, floral notes and wood spices. The finish is long and warm, softly spicy, balancing sweet and dry.
