A 31 year old single cask Speyside malt from Auchroisk, distilled in 1993 and bottled in April 2025 for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. It matured in a refill American hogshead and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 49.7% ABV. Only 137 bottles were filled.
The nose combines coconut with waxy citrus zest, nectarine, apricot and a touch of honey. On the palate come banana, ripe apple and peach, with black pepper adding spice. The finish is clear and long, ending on garden mint.
