This is a Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, finished by independent bottler Murray McDavid in its Cask Craft Collection. It is bottled at 44.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The finish uses three cask types: port, Marsala and Four Grain casks. The whisky is not smoky.
The nose is spicy, with citrus fruit, a mix of fresh nuts and creamy vanilla. On the palate sweet melon, peach and creamy malt meet sweet spices and creamy caramel. The finish stays lively, balancing fruit with the character of the oak casks.
