Augusta 4 Year Old River Proof Series 26 Personal Reserve is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, hand filled at the distillery straight from the barrel. It is bottled at 61.7% in a 75cl bottle and is unfiltered, non-chill-filtered and raw.
The bourbon may contain cask sediment in the form of charred oak residue. Augusta Distillery describes its bourbon as coming from single barrels, never blended or diluted.
The nose is musky, with fresh oak from the bourbon barrel, and the same cask character comes through at the front of the palate.
