Aultmore – 13 Year Old Single Cask Strength (70cl, 55.4%)

A 13 year old single cask Aultmore, matured throughout in a bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength, 55.4%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The bourbon barrel brings plenty of fruity, berry-like aromas, gooseberries in particular, alongside floral notes. On the nose it offers limes, gooseberries, elderflower and primrose. The palate shows green apple, sourdough and white pepper, and the finish is long, with herbal notes and fruit tart.
