This is a 15 year old single cask Aultmore from Speyside, bottled by Chorlton Whisky. It matured for nearly 16 years in a refill barrel and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.1% abv, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
Bourbon oak gave the whisky a malty, sweet character. Aultmore's spirit is often described as having fresh orchard fruits, delicate floral notes and a grassy freshness.
On the palate, maple syrup is cut through with lime leaves and spearmint.
