This is an 18-year-old Highland single malt from Balblair. It begins its maturation in American ex-bourbon casks and is then moved into new Spanish oak casks for a finish. It is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose has rich toffee and baked pears against a background of new leather. The palate balances juicy apricots, spiced oak and vanilla custard. The finish is long and warm, with fresh spices and raisins.
