This is a 21 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Balblair. It spent its first fifteen years maturing in American oak ex-bourbon casks.
The final six years were in hand-selected Spanish oak casks seasoned with Oloroso wine. This extended second maturation shaped its character, giving spiced, fruity flavours and a deep, rich colour.
