Balcones Brimstone is a smoked Texas whisky, bottled at 53% in a 75cl bottle. It starts from the same spirit as the distillery's roasted blue corn whisky, which is then smoked with sun-baked Texas scrub oak.
The nose brings sugar, cold smoked butter, corn husk and stone fruit. On the palate there is candied oak, tobacco, orange marmalade and chili peppers, followed by a long, dry finish.
