Balcones Texas Rye 100 Proof is a rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV.
The mash bill is 100% rye, starting with Elbon rye from northwest Texas alongside crystal, chocolate and roasted rye, which give a rich, sweet mid palate.
On the nose it shows soft charred oak, sourdough bread, black tea and hints of cracked pepper. The palate is creamy, with buttery toffee.
