Balcones – Texas Single Malt Whiskey (75cl)

This is an American single malt from the Balcones distillery in Waco, Texas, in a 75cl bottle. It is full-bodied and takes a modern approach to long-established malt distilling traditions. The nose brings ripe buttered stone fruit, banana and pears, with honey, rose water and delicate citrus. The palate is silky, with lightly toasted bread, fresh butter and marmalade. The finish is long, with toast, burnt sugar, rich malt and wood, and a touch of acidity.
