Ballantine's 30 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky made with malt whiskies matured for at least three decades in oak casks. This expression is released in small quantities.
The family sold the business in 1919, and its new owners expanded into the United States. By the middle of the 1930s, Ballantine's had established a strong distribution network on the country's east coast.
