This is a 13-year-old peated Highland whisky from Ballechin, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026 by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It matured in a hogshead and is bottled at a cask strength of 59.1%, without colouring or chill-filtration.
On the nose, cherry and orange sit alongside pronounced peat smoke, with restrained vanilla and dry oak. The palate is led by strong peat and oak spice, with dark cherry and candied orange.
The finish is long and dry, with orange peel, mild vanilla and a little wood smoke.
