This is Ballechin 18 Year Old, the first batch in the brand's new Cask Strength series. It is a Highland single malt bottled at 50.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2023. It matured in first and second fill ex-bourbon casks, and at 18 years old it keeps the smokiness that marks the Ballechin style while the sharper edges have softened.
